Smoky landings

Trying to avoid the very big tiresmoke when landing, I renamed the file "fx_tchdwn.fx" to "fx_tchdwn_Orig.fx" and introduced my own instruction in the "Aircraft.cfg" / "[Effects]" / "Touchdown=".

Is there a cleaner way to proceed by deleting the original instruction ?
